Well here are 4 British billionaires who have become the UK’s
most wealthy businessmen and guess what? They all had a business idea too, once. These 4 self-made billionaires all started
with an idea which in time turned into a global reality and success. These men
are James Dyson, John Caudwell, Richard Branson and Bernie Ecclestone.
Want to know more?
Well here goes:
James Dyson made millions after successfully inventing the
dual cyclone bagless vacuum cleaner which became the fastest selling vacuum
cleaner in the UK. James Dyson is now worth an estimated 2.9 billion, not bad
for inventing something which sucks up dirt and dust is it?
John Caudwell made his fortune in mobile phones and is
currently the 13th richest person in the UK. After discovering large
profit margins in the mobile phone business, and with the Caudwell group being
named the UK’s fastest growing business in both 1996 and 2997, John was on the
path to success. And with the development of Phones4u, Caudwell quickly became
wealthy and is now said to be worth around £1.5billion.
Richard Branson who everyone knows to be synonymous with the
mega brand Virgin is said to be worth £3billion, making him one of the richest
men in the UK. The virgin group
currently has over 200 companies in over 30 different countries lending to his
spectacular success.
Lastly we welcome the creator of the motorsport Formula One,
Bernie Ecclestone. After trading in spare motorcycle parts as a young boy,
Bernie went on to create the Compton and Ecclestone motorcycle dealership. Ecclestone’s
empire is now estimated to worth in the region of £4billion.
If you have a business idea or consider yourself a bit of an
entrepreneur in the making then get in touch today. Visit us at www.untappeduk.com to find out more or to send
us your pitch. Please note that the deadline is the 31st July 2014.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Is it a bird or is it a plane…no its cellulite-reducing heated underwear!
The mumpreneur and lady behind Fit
Britches is Farnaz khan. Farnaz Khan started off by noticing a gap in
the market, a market dedicated to women with a so called ‘mommy tummy’. After
having children many women find it a struggle to lose weight or diet and even
if they manage to, still find it challenging to budge the excess weight.
With no real market or product
whereby women can lose weight by simply wearing a garment Farnaz khan spent 4
years developing until a solution arose, heated pants. These heated pants
increased the wearer’s core body temperature which in turn increases the person’s
blood circulation and metabolism. As a result the wearers could potentially
experience losing up to 3 dress sizes without even going to the gym or
increasing their daily exercise. As a mother of four herself and originally a
dress size 14, Farnaz khan became a size 8 after trialling out her own unique
creation.
Her own personal weight loss
allowed Farnaz to prove to others that the product worked. Within weeks of
launching her products they were featured on the ITV show This Morning which caused immediate publicity. Although covering
the huge demand for the range was her biggest challenge, the garments are now
sold in over 50 countries worldwide via the website. Fit Britches receives
coverage from a wide range of press not to mention its already established
celebrity fan base including Jessie J and Kim Kardashian. The Fit Britches
clothing range consists of shorts, knickers, leggings and tops with all pieces
designed to be worn in the gym, at work and even at home.
